Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Service (ADHD)

We have entered into a contact with the ICB to support the Shared Care for Children with ADHD in North East Essex. GPPC offer a hybrid support model with their practices, meaning that we either work with practices so that they deliver the contract, or we deliver the contract on behalf of the practice.

For ADHD there are 11 practices that have withdrawn from the Shared Care agreements so GPPC will be picking up the prescribing and health reviews for these patients. The practices GPPC are delivering this service for are listed below:

  • Ardleigh Surgery
  • Colne Medical Centre
  • Creffield Medical Centre
  • Lawford Surgery
  • Mersea Island Medical Practice
  • North Clacton Medical Group
  • Riverside Medical Centre
  • Thorpe Surgery
  • Tiptree Medical Centre
  • Turner Road Surgery
  • Wivenhoe Medical Centre

You should have received a letter from our team, but if not, you will be receiving one in the next two weeks.

GPPC will be responsible for issuing your medication on a monthly basis and provide regular health reviews, which will be really important for children to attend in order for us to continue safe prescribing.

You can contact GPPC on: sneeicb-nee.gppc-adhd@nhs.net or phone on 01206 803271 if you have any questions regarding ADHD medication or reviews

If your GP Surgery is not listed above, then there will not be any change to the way you request the medication for your child
