GP Primary Choice Ltd is a primary care provider company based in North East Essex owned by 32 GP Practices in the locality, covering 352,000 patients.

Its purpose is to provide a vehicle and the skills to successfully bid for local services. By combining resources and expertise the company will help to ensure that work appropriate for General Practice is maintained and developed in local practices to the benefit of patients, practices and the local health economy.

As part of the North East Essex initiative to promote self help advice, we would like to introduce you all to the 'The Sound Doctor'  a web based library of 300 film and audio videos freely available to North East Essex residents, launched this year on Live Well, Essex County Council’s website

The Essex Primary Care Inter-Professional Centre (EPIC) for Workforce Development is a unique and innovative initiative funded by Health Education England to support and develop the primary care workforce in Essex. The virtual centre is a hub of information about living and working in Essex and is committed to enriching and empowering individual career progression whilst facilitating the recruitment and retention of well trained and motivated staff through high quality local training and educational opportunities, peer support, coaching and mentoring and leadership development.
