Home Visits

Whatever it is, we are here to help you.

As a service, we pride ourselves on being able to carry out home visits wherever necessary to complete the task in hand. We are often put in touch with those who require one item of support, but through home visits we can identify needs that may not have been previously considered. This may include:

  • Supported living equipment such as rails and hand bars

  • Welfare benefit eligibility

COVID-19 Implications

COVID-19 has been devastating for many, and we have been working hard to ensure those who need additional support have access to it.

During COVID-19, we had to halt our home visits due to government guidance, however we were proactively calling patients who may require support in the community for anything that the pandemic may have affected in their lives. As soon as guidance evolved to allow socially distanced meetings, we were able to support patients in person from a distance, with all the necessary health and safety precautions in place.

Now, we are pleased to say that for many, home visits can resume where necessary. To avoid unnecessary risk, the tasks that can be completed remotely will be, though if it is more appropriate for someone to go into your home, this can be arranged or referred onto organisations who can support at home.
